The best thing in the world is when clients turn friends.  I've had the immense pleasure of photographing the Lemanski family numerous times starting in the fall of 2015 when I photographed Matt's sister and her fiancé for their engagement session.  Soon after that session, Emma and Matt got engaged and I was beyond thrilled to also book them for their wedding in Minnesota this past November!

I was a little curious as to what the day would hold for Minnesota in early November 2016...being from Michigan, I know it could be a beautiful fall day, or turn cold with an early snow storm.  It was a toss up.  But the day ended up being more perfect than we could have imagined.  Not a cloud in the sky and temps in the 70's.  I will never for get how amazing the wedding day was!

Emma and Matt are, to me, about as perfect together as a Disney prince and princess.  They're beautiful, fun, and kind and you can just tell by looking at them that they will have a long "happily ever after."  All the special details from their day were so special and I adore how their story came together!!

Here's a few of our favorite shots <3

I love this pretty necklace that was a gift from the groom to his bride!

One of the sweetest moments of the day was when Emma and Matt each opened and read love letters they wrote to each other (months before the wedding!)  It was such a special moment!

Those first few moments after they said "I do" <3  I love that we had a few moments after the ceremony in the same spot they had their first look.

Emma grew up with all brothers so she was especially excited to gain two sisters!

And speaking of brothers, Emma and her siblings are seriously as wonderful as they come!

One extremely handsome group of gentlemen!

After we captured a few images with the wedding party, we headed back to the Town and Country Club in St. Paul, MN and had a few moments alone with the bride and groom.  We had a very short amount of time, but this couple made it ridiculously easy to get some amazing images.

And can we pause for a moment over the Minneapolis skyline in the distance??  Wow!

The first dance is always and forever a favorite!

The guests continued the celebration by dancing the night away to a spectacular nine-piece band!

So these shoes.  This was the third of the Lemanski family to wear (hand-painted!) Disney inspired shoes for their reception and as always, I'm blown away by the creative detail!!  I first saw these at the bride's sister-in-law's wedding we shot and absolutely fell in LOVE so I was so happy to see Emma's version for hers!

Since all three of those ladies wore them to the reception, obviously a picture was needed!

One of the last images of the evening, and one of my favorites <3

And a very big thank you to Kyleen of Kyleen Olson Photography who was my assistant for the day!
